Welcome to QuizLab: Science Master (the “App”), published by Suraj. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app and the associated website quizlabscience.blogspot.com.

1. What data we collect

QuizLab is designed to be a privacy-friendly quiz app. We do not require registration, and you can use most features offline. However, because we use Firebase services, limited non-personal data is collected automatically to help improve app stability and analytics.

• App activity (screen views, session durations, basic event analytics) — collected for analytics and product improvement.
• Crash logs / App performance data — collected by Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose and fix crashes and ANRs.
• Device or other identifiers (app instance ID, install ID) — used to differentiate between devices for analytics and crash grouping.

No personal information such as name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts, or payment information is collected by the app unless you explicitly enter such information. QuizLab does not require a login.

2. Why we collect this data

• App functionality: Ensure features like quizzes and progress tracking work reliably.
• Analytics: Understand feature usage and improve the user experience.
• Crash reporting & security: Diagnose crashes and maintain app stability using Crashlytics.

3. Third-party services and SDKs

We use the following third-party services that may collect data as described above:

• Firebase Analytics — collects anonymous usage statistics and app engagement data.
• Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports and stack traces to help debug issues.

These services process data on behalf of the developer and follow their own privacy practices. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share personal information to advertisers.

4. Advertising ID

QuizLab does not display ads and does not use advertising ID for ad targeting. If you later integrate ad SDKs (e.g., AdMob), we will update this policy and the Play Console declaration accordingly.

5. Data retention

Crash logs and analytics data collected by Firebase are retained according to Firebase’s default retention policies. Temporary analytics and crash data are typically removed automatically within a limited period (for example, 90 days). We do not maintain long-term personal user profiles.

6. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data collected. All data transmitted to Firebase is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

This app is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete the data.

8. Do-not-track & opt-out

Because we do not collect personal information for ad-targeting, there is no do-not-track toggle in-app. Analytics and crash reporting are used for product improvement and are not tied to personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted will constitute acceptance of those changes.
